Hai Le

Retired from Shell Oil Company as an Information Technology System Developer.

Former 15 times Vietnam National Foil Champion. Competed internationally and won numerous medals. Came in second in a World Cup  in Australia.

Taught fencing at the Trivium School in Mesa Arizona. Two of his students became champions two years in a row.

Barbara Cervantes

Graduated from the Instituto Superior Comandante Manuel Fajardo located in Havana, Cuba with a Bachelor Degree in Fencing and Master Degree in Sport Fitness.

Member of the Cuban National Women’s Fencing Team.

Competed successfully in South America, Italy, Poland, France and in the Soviet Union.

A student for 6 years of the great Soviet coach, Serquevich.

Won numerous tournaments in all three weapons.

Has 16 years experience as a fencing instructor. Trained many successful fencers who received national and international recognition.

Manuel S. Rodriguez

Studied fencing under Master Ziggy Kaktins, while a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Earned his first championship in foil after only 2 years under his guidance. Coach Manny retired from Shell Oil as Project Manager for the Shell 405 Catalyst.  Since his retirement in 2004 from Shell, coach Manny has been teaching fencing at a local academy and teaching fencing at various school districts in the Houston area.
